An overview of the User List Filter, Columns, and Views features.
The User List in Calculus is a powerful tool for managing users, generating reports, creating and saving custom filters and views, and exporting data to external files.
Filters allow you to quickly find specific information within your User List. You can filter by various criteria such as residency status, account status, FICA exemption, country of residence, tax rate, immigration status, and more.
Create Filter
1. Login to your Calculus Account.
2. On the left side menu, click on Users and Select All Accounts.
3. Click on the Filter button.
4. Name the filter for future use.
5. Select and/or.
6. Click Add a Condition.
7. From the drop-down menu, choose the field you want to filter by (e.g., residency status, country, etc.).
8. Select an option in the ‘Where value’ drop-down.
9. Enter the desired criteria in the Criteria field (e.g., Resident, China, Uploaded, Completed, etc.).
10. Click 'Apply' to use the filter immediately, or 'Save and apply' if you want to save it for future use.
You can add more conditions by repeating the steps above, allowing you to create complex filters that meet your specific needs.
Info: Saved Filters will be available to use by all Administrators in your Institution Account
Combine Filters with Views:
You can combine your custom filters with pre-set Views to display specific information. For example, you might create a 2-criteria filter for all completed Calculus profiles where Form 8233 has been uploaded and then combine it with a customized View showing document status or visa details.
1. Click on the Columns icon to add a View.
2. Name the View for future use.
3. Select which columns you want to view. Columns can be re-arranged by dragging the cell up or down.
4. Click Apply to use the filter immediately, or Save and Apply if you want to save it for future use.
Info: Saved Views will be available to use by all Administrators in your Institutions Account.
When you apply a Filter and View, you can always click the x mark to remove the filter or view.
Export Report
You can export the filtered data into a CSV file.
1. Click the Export button.
2. Wait for a notification or email that will inform you when the export is complete.
3. You will receive a link in the email or notification, allowing you to download the exported data as a CSV file.
Actions
Administrators can select the users in the filtered reports and take further actions for the user like sending email communication, mark them for deletion, lock or unlock their accounts and assign Responsible Officer.
1. Check off the users under the User Names column to select all the user on the page.
Info: You can click on Actions and toggle Select all users.
2. A side Panel will open where you can select the desired actions for the selected users.
