We are introducing a new restricted admin role: Account Creation Only.
This role is designed to allow designated admins to manually create new user accounts without providing access to broader system management features.
Access & Permissions
Admins assigned the Account Creation Only role can:
- Access the Dashboard
- View Dashboard tabs displaying key figures
- All associated Manage actions within these tabs are hidden or disabled
- All links in the left navigation panel are hidden or disabled
- Perform manual User registration only
After selecting Register:
- A confirmation message will appear upon successful account creation
- An error message will display if a conflict exists with:
- SSN
- Student ID
- Admins will not be redirected to the User List after registration
Restricted Access
Admins with this role do not have access to:
- Bulk Upload functionality
- Settings
Within the Account section, the following items are hidden:
- Notifications
- Account Data
- Returns
Admins will only be able to view:
- Manage Account
- Log Out
This new role ensures secure delegation of account creation responsibilities while maintaining strict access control across the system.
