We’re thrilled to announce the rollout of new features designed to give you even greater control and flexibility within our platform.
We’ve made two key enhancements to the Tax Treaty Settings:
- On/Off Toggles for Each Income Code
Admins can now selectively disable Tax Treaty eligibility for specific income codes directly within the Calculus Settings page. - On/Off Toggles for Each User/Vendor
From the right-side panel of any user or vendor record, admins can now enable or disable Tax Treaty eligibility per income code.
These updates put you in control, making it easier than ever to manage treaty eligibility quickly and accurately.
We invite you to explore these features and experience the benefits for yourself.

Update 1:
You’ll now find a new section at the bottom of the Tax Treaty Settings page within your Calculus account.
This section introduces On/Off toggles for each income code, allowing you to quickly enable or disable Tax Treaty eligibility on a per-code basis.
Relevant Info:
- All toggles default to “On” keeping current functionality unchanged.
- Turning a toggle “Off” removes Tax Treaty benefits for that code and hides it from the Tax Treaty summary view
- Disabling Income Code 19 - Compensation for Teaching will automatically disable 19 - Compensatory
- Disabling income code 20 - compensation during studying and training will automatically disable 20 - Compensatory

Update 2:
We’ve also added the ability to control Tax Treaty eligibility directly from the right side panel for each user or vendor.
These per income code toggles will only appear if:
- The income code is selected in both individual user/vendor settings and tax forms info
- Tax Treaty eligibility is enabled for that Income Code in your main Tax Treaty settings, and the record meets all conditions for eligibility
