  1. New Fields added to Audit Log

New Feature Enhancement: Greater Transparency in Audit Logs

We're excited to introduce an improvement to the Audit Log experience that brings greater clarity and accountability to record changes.

Now, when an administrator edits or approves changes to a record, their name will be clearly displayed under Change Status in the record's side panel, replacing the previous generic 'Admin' label.

This enhancement ensures full visibility into who performed each action, empowering teams with more precise tracking and improved collaboration. This feature is available for all accounts with Audit Log enabled.

  1. Enhanced Import Functionality

We’ve improved the import capabilities for accounts with unapproved changes pending. Administrators can now seamlessly import new information for users with the Audit Log enabled even when unapproved changes exist.

This new option is available on the Map Import Columns screen.

When selected, a Caution message will appear to ensure admins are aware that the import may overwrite user-submitted data and that all actions may be logged for review.

  1. Addresses of Foreign Based Entities to be Populated on State Tax Forms

We’ve expanded our address functionality to better support international institutions!

With the introduction of the “Foreign-based institution” option in Account Data, we've now made it possible for the following address fields from Account Data to be populated in the Withholding Agent section of applicable state tax forms.

The address that will be populated on the state tax forms will depend on what is selected in Account Data. If the below option is selected as shown, the foreign address will be populated. If the below is not selected, the U.S. address will be populated.

  1. Bulk Editing of Payments via Import

We’ve made managing payments even easier!

Administrators can now update existing payments in bulk directly through the import file, eliminating the need to edit records individually.

When importing payments, the Income Code, Income Subtype, and Payment Amount fields can be overwritten if a row in your CSV import file meets the following criteria:

  1. The Payment ID matches an existing payment
  2. The Email ID or Student ID matches the same payment
  3. The Payment Date is the same

If any of these conditions aren’t met, the system will display a clear message in the Import Results, explaining why the import failed for that row.

This enhancement saves time, reduces manual work, and streamlines payment management across large datasets.

  1. Improved User List Search Performance

We’ve optimized the user list search functionality for a smoother experience!

Searches in user lists will now load results more efficiently, and blank rows will no longer appear during loading.

These enhancements improve data visibility and make it easier to quickly locate the information you need.

  1. New 1042-S Permission Added

The permission “View form 1042-S” has been added to the admin permissions.

All 1042-S Admin Permissions:

  1. View 1042-S List
  2. Import 1042-S data
  3. Generate 1042-S
  4. Export 1042-S in PDF
  5. Export1042-S in TXT
  6. Export 1042-S in CSV
  7. Delete 1042-S
  8. View form 1042-S
  9. Generate 1042

How the 1042-S permissions work:

  • If any of Permissions 2–7 or 9 are granted, Permission 1 will be auto granted.
  • If Permission 4 is granted, Permission 8 will be auto granted.
  • When only Permission 1 is granted, the admin can view the 1042-S screen but cannot perform bulk actions or use buttons.
  • When only Permission 8 is granted, the admin can download 1042-S copies A, and B, C, & D from Tax Forms.
  • If only Permissions 1 and 8 are granted, the admin can:
    • Download 1042-S forms from the side panel and Tax Forms.
    • Read the 1042-S list but cannot edit or use bulk actions.
