A: Once an Administrator finalizes and locks the tax year in Sprintax Calculus, the 1042-S forms will be generated. If a user has a 1042-S generated in their profile, they will see an option under Tax Forms to transfer their 1042-S information and any profile information relevant for their tax returns, directly into Sprintax Returns, our tax preparation system.
This enables the user to speed up the process of their nonresident tax return preparation on both a federal and state level.
